VIETNAM
Every country has to deal with the most basic environmental issue of littering. Developed countries like the Australia, Singapore, South Korea, The United Kingdom, and The United States were once full of people who littered. They have all been through the process of educating their citizens about the negative impacts of littering.
OTHER COUNTRIES
As Vietnam is in the early stages of development and have reached the status of a middle-income country, it is still early in the process. However, as quick and agile as the Vietnamese people have shown themselves to be, we expect to see significant behavioral changes very quickly as many of the country’s key stakeholders join the Green Turtle Hero partnership.
PROBLEM 2
The timing is now! Below are photos taken at Nam Dinh beach during the April 30th 2024 holiday. The beach is frequented by local Vietnamese tourists. The photos were part of an article by Vietnamnet.vn and were reposted to Reddit. We must work on this issue now as it not only damages the natural environment, but can harm Vietnam economically by deterring international tourists from visiting our beautiful country.
